CSIF describes this achievement as "very important" and considers that its implementation should not be delayed any longer in the rest of the administrations

The Independent Union and Officials Union (CSIF), the most representative union in the public administrations and the first union force in the City Councils of Jumilla, has agreed on the General Negotiation Table, along with the rest of the union organizations that make up the Personnel Board, to recover part of the labor and economic conditions of public employees who depend on this Consistory.

It is the "first" agreement signed with an administration in the Region of Murcia, and that CSIF qualifies as 'very important', by which public employees of the City of Jumilla will recover part of the rights they lost as a result of the economic crisis as they are "flexibilize" the working day, while recovering one hundred percent of the fixed payments of the month of onset of temporary disability.

CSIF believes that its implementation should not be delayed any longer in the rest of the administrations in the Region, and asks the rest of the municipalities to follow the example of Jumilla.

The agreement, which will allow "recover rights" to 250 public employees of the Jumillano Consistory, establishes as a face-to-face working day 35 hours per week and 2.5 non-contact hours, to favor the professional development and personal and work-life balance of public employees .

This part of the non-contact day will be used to train these public employees, as well as to prepare tasks and meetings, plan activities, review work and update knowledge, which will mean a maximum effective time compensation of 30 minutes a day. .

At the same time, it has also been agreed to restore Article 3 of the Framework Agreement and Collective Agreement in force, which establishes the remuneration supplements to achieve "one hundred percent" of the fixed payments of the month of onset of disability temporary, which will guarantee that the officials who are in this situation, will charge their fixed remuneration "from the first day", following the path marked by the regional and state governments.

CSIF points out that this agreement will improve the working conditions of public employees who carry out their work in the City of Jumilla, which will mean better public services and quality for citizens.

The Trade Union Center emphasizes, in addition, that this achievement is the result of the "will to dialogue and negotiation" reached from the "consensus" of all the representatives of the signatory trade union organizations.
