The mayor of Jumilla and president of the Association for the Regional Development of the Northeast Region of Murcia, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Economy and Employment, Juan Gil, have received at the City Council two new local action groups from Bulgaria , which also manage Leader Aids.
This is the GAL of Lom and Balchik-General Toshevo.
The first one is located in the north of Bulgaria, next to the Danube on the border with Romania, and the second one in the northeast area, next to the Black Sea.
The expedition was led by the mayors of the cities of Balchik and General Toshevo, who traveled with part of the technical team of their respective local action groups.
The objective of this visit is to know first-hand the experiences and good practices of the Northeast LAG, as well as to make a first contact in order to be able to carry out joint cooperation projects in the future.
In addition to the City Council, they have known companies and different points of the municipality.
This is the second trip to Jumilla of local action groups in Bulgaria, since last November they traveled to Jumilla components of the GAL Biala Slatina.
