The Governing Board awards the works for the Polideportivo La Hoya climbing wall (18/12/2018)

The Governing Board held this morning has approved the project for the construction of a climbing wall at the La Hoya Sports Center, which will be held in two phases.

The first will cost 71,356 euros and is one of the Leader projects approved in the first call for grants for the period 2014-2020.

The project has been carried out by the architect María José Cerdá.

It is an installation of 13 meters in height that will be attached to the racquetball court, on the back.

It will have a climbing wall with dimensions suitable for competition and a boulder, which will allow climbing without conventional protection materials.

It will be covered and partially closed laterally to protect it from atmospheric agents.

The access is planned from the La Hoya Sports Center, surrounding the tennis courts that are on its side.

It will occupy a space of almost 250 square meters and will have concrete bleachers.

Tennis School

Likewise, the contract for the implementation of the Municipal Tennis School for the 2018/19 season has been approved for an amount of 24,144.13 euros with courses for all ages (from 4 years to adults) and different schedules during all the afternoons from Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.

Courses of the Youth Council

In the Board of Government today has also approved the implementation of courses of French A2, GAP, hairdressing, photography and training in video games to be offered by the Youth Council from October to December for a total cost of 4,712 euros .
