During the last weekend the departure of adults began in the places of La Celia, La Dehesilla, Cañada Albatana and Montesinos.

At this time the percentage of output is around 7-8%.

As to flowering, the fainting, marcona and communes varieties are in fruit fattening;

guara and antoñeta are in a phenological state of falling petals and penta is in the phenological stage "E".

Adults have a period of approximately one month, so more than one application must be made.

The active material that has registration in the almond tree for its control is "lambda cihalotrin", only in use in conventional agricultural plots.

In plots in ecological agriculture, it will be necessary to use those active materials authorized in ecological terms.

When carrying out the treatments, it will be necessary to take into account the possible presence of bees in the plots.

The almond wasp appeared for the first time last year in the plantations of the Altiplano region.

The most important attacks occurred in plots bordering the province of Albacete, where the plague has been present for some years.
