The Department of Environment of the City of Jumilla will participate for the third year in the European Mobility Week that takes place from September 16 to 22, to which the Department of Public Safety has joined "with the aim of modifying our way to move around the city, "said the area councilor, Juan Gil.

The campaign proposes that citizens take pictures on the bike lanes of the municipality or in front of any of the mupis that will have the campaign announcement installed.

Next, they must share this photograph using the hashtag # SemanaMovilidadJumilla2019 by tagging the official Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account of the City Council or the Facebook account of the Department of Environment.

All those who have participated will have to go on Sunday 22 at 11.00 by bicycle, rollerblades or similar to the parking area of ​​the Indoor Pool, where they will receive a commemorative shirt and a number with which they will enter the draw of a bicycle Mountain bike, which will take place once the cycle tour is completed and will be carried out at that time along the bike path of Liberty Avenue.

Each person can participate in the campaign with a photograph within the dates of the contest and always according to the theme of this.

That same day, in the Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola, from 10 to 14 hours a Fair of Sustainable Mobility will be held in which exhibition of electric vehicles and bicycles will be held with the collaboration of shops of Jumilla, exhibition of police cars, Firefighters , Civil Guard and Civil Protection and information workshops on motorcycle or bicycle repairs.

In addition, two road education circuits will be installed for children to demonstrate their bike skills, vehicles with reduced mobility.

There will also be free inflatable castles.

Throughout the week, the Local Police will disseminate the campaign in the educational centers through talks about the importance of sustainable mobility for the environment and our health.
