Bodegas Luzón has been recognized by the newspaper La Razón in the fourth edition of its Gastro & cía awards for its sustainability.
These awards aim to place the main references of the Spanish gastronomy sector in the forefront.
The prize for the winery has been collected by his winemaker Vicente Micó from the councilor responsible for the Delegated Tourism Area, Almudena Maíllo, who has chaired the event.
Alongside the winery, characters such as the sommelier José Polo of the Atrio restaurant, the Basque Culinary Center, the Horcher restaurant or Herbalife Nutrition, among others, have been awarded.
The jury has recognized the firm commitment of Bodegas Luzón for the efficient use of resources and its commitment to the conservation of the environment and natural heritage as well as its innovative production of organic wines suitable for vegans, in whose clarification only vegetable products are used .
Bodegas Luzón is one of the few that has the Wineries for Climate Protection (WfCP) certificate, which defines it as an environmentally sustainable company thanks to the implementation of a demanding policy of continuous improvement and sustainability.
This company is one of the largest producers of wine of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Jumilla and its elaborations have a strong personality and high prestige among experts and consumers.
