Murcia under zero

The councilor of Youth, Juan Manuel García, and the general director of Youth, Francisco Javier Sánchez, presented this morning in Jumilla the program Murcia Bajo Cero, aimed at young people between 14 and 36 years.

This is a program that has launched the Directorate General of Youth in the Region of Murcia and through it offer skiing activities in the winter months.

The sports that can be practiced are alpine skiing and snowboarding.

Scheduled activities include transportation, initiation or improvement classes, rental of equipment, insurance and, where appropriate, accommodation.

The offer includes weekend stays and one-day trips in Sierra Nevada and five-day stay in the Pyrenees.

One-day trips cost 59 euros, two days 157 euros, three euros 190 euros, all to Sierra Nevada, while that of the Pyrenees costs 325 euros in hostel and 430 euros in hotel.

Departures from Jumilla to Sierra Nevada are scheduled for Saturday, January 28 and Saturday, March 18, in both cases from the Covered Municipal Pool.

The departure of January will be at 2:15 p.m. and March at 2:00 p.m.

The trip to Pyrenees will be made from 21 to 25 January with departures from Murcia, Cartagena and Los Alcázares.

Reservations are made on the website www.mundojoven.org and more information can be obtained at the Youth Council of the City Council of Jumilla, in King Don Pedro Square.

Those under 30 years old must provide the young card and for the rest will suffice with the DNI in force.
