The XXX National Encounter of Confraternities of 2017 will be the image of Jumilla in the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) that is celebrated from 18 to 22 January in Madrid.
It will be Wednesday at 16.00 in the Pavilion of the Region of Murcia when the mayor, Juana Guardiola, and the president of the Central Board of Holy Brotherhood, Fulgencio García, accompanied by the councilor Pilar Martinez, present the event, which Will be held in Jumilla from 21 to 24 September.
It is an event that will put Jumilla at the national level, both religiously and culturally.
The presentation of the event in Fitur will focus on announcing the extraordinary procession to be held on Saturday 23 September at 21.30.
It will consist of 24 steps and 43 images dating from the 16th and 20th centuries by 18 different sculptors.
There will be 20 brotherhoods and brotherhoods and more than a thousand Nazarenes who will show the plastic representation of the Passion as it has been done in the town for more than 600 years.
In Fitur, there will also be space for the Jumilla Wine Route, showing the world how to live a wonderful experience visiting this land, getting into its culture, its festivals, tradition and customs, putting the senses in motion when walking among its vineyards , Visiting its wineries and knowing its corners, its nature and, of course, its rich gastronomy surrounded by wines of the Protected Denomination of Origin of Jumilla, always protagonists in these appointments.
There will be wine tasting in the Pavilion of the Region of Murcia.
