The Revolver concert and the play 'El Intercambio', with Gabino Diego and Teté Delgado, are the two most outstanding performances for the first quarter of the year at the Teatro Vico.
The group led by Carlos Goñi will have in Jumilla one of his first stops to present his new album 'Capitol', specifically on March 25.
It will be on February 4 when you can enjoy the comedy 'The Exchange' at prices ranging from 8 to 15 euros.
The programming has been presented this morning by the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martinez, who has described it as "varied, quality and with which as always we try to reach the maximum number of people, different ages and different tastes."
The humor note will be given by Monologue Night 'Ninonaino', with Agustín Durán, Javi Chou and El Charly, inside the second edition of the Murcia Smiles Festival.
There will also be space for the musical and children's musical performance of 'Pepi Calzaslargas', by 'Pepica y sus Bichejos' in the month of February, as well as for the professional and social theater with 'Betun', of the company International Theater Strappato (February 24).
The rest of the quarter, which has delayed its start for the holiday season, will be complemented by local performances, International Women's Day and the screening of two current films nominated for the Goya Awards: 'A monster comes to see me' and '1898: The last of the Philippines', with BSO by Roque Baños.
There will also be a multitude of cultural events outside the Vico Theater: several exhibitions, lectures and book presentations in the municipal museums and Library, as well as in the Casa del Artesano.
One of the highlights of this quarter is the 'Radio Museum', on the occasion of World Radio Day and the recent work to recover funds from the former municipal radio station.
It will be inaugurated on February 10 and will be until March 12 in the temporary exhibition room of the Ethnography section of the Jerónimo Molina Museum.
It will have funds and old radio equipment of José Luis Gil González and Radio Jumilla.
Key event will also be the inauguration on 23 February of the newly remodeled section of Entomology in the Municipal Museum, which was carried out during 2016 thanks to the co-financing by the City and a grant of 30,000 euros granted by part Of the General Directorate of Cultural Property of the Autonomous Community.
