The granting process for teaching materials for the 2017/18 academic year begins (19/06/2017)

The Board of Governors this morning has approved the start of the procedure for granting subsidies under competitive bidding for the acquisition of teaching materials and textbooks for the second cycle of Early Childhood Education of the course 2017/18.

A maximum of 100 euros per student will be granted until the budget credit of 30,000 euros is exhausted.

The bases can be consulted on the municipal website, once published in the BORM, having as criteria of priority in the concession taking into account the income, the number of members of the family unit and the youngest age of the beneficiary student.

The deadline for applications is 30 calendar days from the publication of the extract of the call in the BORM.

On the other hand, the record has been initiated for the contract for home help services on weekends on public holidays and on the other hand home-based tele-assistance services with the aim of continuing to provide care for the elderly or disabled in 2018.

Currently, a hundred people in the municipality benefit from both services.

It has been agreed to award to the company HP Printing and Computing Solutions the contract for the supply of 12 monitors, 5 laptops and 5 Windows Pro licenses for a cost of 6,068.15 euros.

In addition, the safety and health plans for the fireproofing works have been approved for the structures of the municipal industrial buildings 3 and 4 of the Los Romerales Industrial Estate and for the repair of the damages caused by the rains in La Zarza. Start right away.

Municipal Archives

The Government Board has approved the acquisition of new mobile shelves for the Municipal Archive of Jumilla in order to expand the capacity of the same and improve the quality of storage of documentation.

The commercial Polypal Storage Systems is contracted for supply and assembly by con csote of 8.991,12 euros.

Subsidies to districts

In the session this morning has been approved the grant of 9,000 euros to the districts of the municipality, at a rate of 1,000 euros each one because of improving their social premises, festivities and public spaces.

Other agreements

It was approved to hire the Lyric Company Julián Santos for the performance of performances on July 2 and 22 in the Plaza de Santa María and atrium of the convent of Santa Ana respectively with a cost of 2,300 euros.

Likewise, the performance denominated 'The Apartment' for the 21 of July in the Castle is contracted for a price of 2.662 euros.
