The plenary session approves the modification of six fiscal ordinances (28/11/2017)

The ordinary full of November celebrated last night approved the provisional modification of six fiscal ordinances: the taxes on constructions, facilities and works (ICIO) and preserves of hunting, as well as the rates by provision of the service of celebrations of civil marriages, of collection and withdrawal of vehicles on the public road, the cemetery and garbage collection.

PP and IULV abstained on the marriage celebration rate and IULV also abstained on garbage collection.

The rest were approved unanimously and an amendment of the PP to the modification of the marriage rate was rejected.

Most of the modifications are technical, highlighting the bonus of 30% of the ICIO in favor of new constructions in sectors other than agriculture, livestock and agrifood that promote the creation of employment in the municipality, as well as in favor of improvements in the constructions linked to already existing in the agrarian, livestock and agri-food sectors that encourage the modernization and improvement of these sectors in order to contribute to their growth and development.

Last night's plenary unanimously approved, in addition, the bonus of 75% of the ICIO quota to two companies for agricultural use and a warehouse, which represent an amount of about 75,000 euros.

Likewise, four cases of extrajudicial credit recognition were approved for a value of 144,983.39 euros.

In these cases, with the positive vote of the PSOE, the opposite of IULV and the abstention of PP.

The two motions on the agenda were approved, both presented by the PP.

It was agreed that priority be given to the processing of property liability records, that the status of the processing be provided to the municipal groups and be updated quarterly, as well as be reported in the commissions, including the causes that originate their presentation .

That proposal counted on the abstention of IULV.

Unanimously, it was agreed that the City assume the commitment to carry out the appropriate studies to know the costs and resources necessary for the adaptation of the pedestrian traffic network that allows the gradual installation of sound signals, which should be done with the collaboration of the ONCE.

During this year other ordinance improvements have been made, such as the one made in the use of sports facilities or the update of the IBI, which is reduced by 4%, which, added to previous reductions, already reaches 10.9% of application in 2018. This year, like the previous one, the CPI has not been raised either.
