Brilliant brooch to cross in Jumilla (11/02/2018)

The regional cross-country season saw its culmination on Sunday, on the occasion of the XLI Championship of the Region of Murcia Individual de Cross, which has again hosted Jumilla, also hosting the last scoring event of the XXXII Regional League of Cross FAMU for the sub16 male, sub18, sub20 and female master categories.

An appointment whose special character was once again emphasized, once again witnessing the "La Hoya" circuit of the Sports Federation Championship for people with intellectual disabilities (FEDEMIPS).

Thus it has been under the organization of Athletic Club Wines DOP Jumilla, in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Sports of the Excmo.

On the masculine side, the athlete of the Nutribán Athletic Society Alcantarilla Iván Pérez achieved the title sub8 (02:25), doing the same in sub10 Anas Attaf, of Athletics Alhama (02:08) and in sub12 Adrián López, of CA Nogalte - Home Puerto Lumbreras (09:21).

Petros Sánchez, of CA Murcia Tovarsport, won in sub14 (12:32) as well as the athlete of F. Álamo CjRural Regional Mohamed Zerhouni (15:25) and in sub18 his club mate Daniel Gálvez (18:29).

Adil Faridi, from CA Nogalte - Home Puerto Lumbreras, took the sub20 victory (25:54), with the sub23 win for Mourad Jbari, from SG Pontevedra (34:03) and the senior title for the CA Fent athlete Camí Mislata Antonio Martínez (32:20).

As regards the veterans, the fastest in Master 35 was the athlete of the CA Fondistas Yecla Francisco Javier Román (26:39), as well as the athlete of the Economic T-shirts Elda José González in m40 (26:06), being the best Athlete FAMU Joaquín López, from CD Runtritón Cartagena (26:46);

Joaquín Sáez, from CA Puerto Torrevieja, in m45 (26:35);

José Antonio Mateo, from CA Puerto Torrevieja, in m50 (26:55);

Pedro Milán, of the Elda Economic T-shirts, in m55 (28:08), with the athlete of the CD Runtritón Cartagena Eduardo Escolar as regional champion (28:08) and Salvador Martínez, of the Fondistas Yecla, in m60 (29:36).

The popular victory corresponded to the athlete of San Javier Team Inassa Mohammed Sellam (25:55).

The FEDEMIPS victory in the competitive event corresponded to the athlete of the Primi Sport CD Vicente J. Castilla Urán (12:30), with his club mate José Carlos Moreno (04:54) as the winner in the adapted event.

Already in women, the victory sub8 was for the athlete of the Wines DOP Jumilla Nerea Pérez (02:44), winning in sub10 Jimena Hernández, Eliocroca (02:13) and in sub12 the athlete of CA Nogalte - Home Puerto Lumbreras Patricia Ruiz (05:32), being the U14 winner also the athlete of the Lumbrerense club Wiam Ghanemi (07:13).

Ouissane Fryhah, also from Nogalte, was the best sub16 (09:35), the triumph of the sub Murcia Murcia Murcia Tovarsport athlete María Martínez (17:08) and subjoining Maria Garnés, UCAM Cartagena (22:28).

The U23 victory was for UCAM athlete Athleo Cieza Alicia Vázquez (41:53), as well as a senior for Penelope Raquel Baños, from At.

San Sebastián (39:09).

Regarding the veterans, the athlete of the Puertas Lorca Maria Diaz won in Master 35 (22:49), doing the same her club partner Ginesa Díaz in f35 (23:23);

María Jesús Delgado, from Cehegín Athletics, at f45 (23:44);

Mª Teresa Gutiérrez, from CA Puertas Lorca, at f50 (25:27);

Mª Carmen López, of the Cartagena Marathon, in f55 (27:53);

Toñi Asensio, of the Cartagena Marathon, in f60 (30:17) and the athlete of the Puertas Lorca Milagros Martínez in f65 (33:09), being the victory in the popular race for Isabel Ángel del F. Álamo CjRural Regional (20: 47).

For its part, the athlete of the CD Aidemar Mariá Antón was the best in the adapted FEDEMIPS female test.
