Today began the renovation of the lighting and power lines of the Cerro del Castillo Industrial Estate that will consist of the replacement of the 50 luminaires with which the installation has, separated into two lines.
It will also replace almost 5,000 linear meters of cable that have been disappearing due to robberies, 25 caskets will be installed, which had also disappeared, as well as two new lamp posts.
The cost of the action will be 31,000 euros, with Maisi SL being the successful bidder.
The councilman of Industry, Juan Gil, has been satisfied with the start of the work, "since the procedures began in 2010 and will finally be able to carry out."
For his part, the Councilor for Works and Urban Planning, Francisco González, has offered the details of the action and has indicated that the estimated time of execution is approximately one month.
The president of the Polygon Hill of the Castle, Evaristo Vicente, has remembered "the work and the many meetings that have cost that this work carries out and that finally can give by finished, since it will give security to the zone and to that happen by the night".
This year, another action will also be carried out, which consists in taking the underground line from the Yecla road to the polygon, which will allow its regularization.
Both works will be carried out under the 2017 Treasury surplus.
