Diego Conesa: "It's a real nonsense what happened with the road to El Carche" (02/03/2018)

The secretary general visits Jumilla and says that the PSOE is working on establishing a story of change for the Region of Murcia, but also some future planning expectations for the Altiplano, which involve knowing what water resources it will have in the next years

The PSRM-PSOE general secretary, Diego Conesa, assured that "what has happened to date with the El Carche highway is a total nonsense." The Socialists have presented initiatives in the Congress of Deputies, the Senate and the Regional Assembly to make the road settlement with due planning at the regional and state level. "

"And now you want to transfer all the responsibility to the City of Jumilla of a road that is not local, it is not serious on the part of a government that has for many years despising the citizens of this region," he said.

Conesa, along with the national deputy, María González Veracruz;

the spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group and deputy secretary general of the PSRM-PSOE, Joaquín López, and the regional deputies Yolanda Fernández and Jesús Navarro, attended a working meeting with the mayor, Juana Guardiola, and her government team in Jumilla.

"We are going to discuss issues that we have been analyzing and coordinating for a long time since the Congress, the Senate and the Regional Assembly, because the Socialists, even though they are in opposition, have to respond to the needs of all the residents of the Region of Murcia. ", has indicated the socialist leader.

Another topic discussed at the meeting was water.

"The serious problem that exists in the Altiplano is that we talk a lot about the Tajo-Segura and the Mancomunidad de Canales del Taibilla, but Jumilla and Yecla do not have either."

According to the Secretary General, it is necessary to immediately seek water planning for Jumilla and Yecla.

"In that is the PSOE, to establish a story of change for the Region of Murcia, but also future planning expectations for the Altiplano, which go by knowing what water resources will be in the coming years," he added .

For its part, the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, stressed that the reason for the visit of the secretary general and the deputies and socialist deputies is to hold a meeting to see first-hand the issues and needs of the municipality, as the road from El Carche, the highway of the North and the water resources.
