A group of young people from Jumilla and Yecla are participating in a new edition of the Nazaret de Cáritas Employment Project, aimed at people at risk or situation of social inclusion.
The program has the collaboration of the Department of Social Policy and Equality of the City of Jumilla through talks and workshops with the aim that participants can expand their knowledge in ICT and gender equality and opportunities.
Likewise, the Civil Guard of Jumilla has offered advice to raise awareness among young people about the good use of new technologies and social networks.
These workshops are part of their training and are prior to the certificate of professionalism of Upholstery that Cáritas imparts and which began this Monday in Yecla.
The objective is to professionalize young people in this sector by providing them with an employment opportunity with which they can access the world of work.
The young people carry out 60km a day to attend the training, which also serves as an improvement and motivation.
The Nazaret Project is co-financed by the European Social Fund, the Imas and Cáritas, the entity that manages it.
