The month of September 2012 a grant was requested by Councilman social services, counseling education from CARM, to track "PREVENTION PLAN AND MONITORING IN CHILDREN WITH TRUANCY OLD SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF JUMILLA ".
Recently it has received notice of that subsidy, amounting to € 7,066 has been allocated to hire a social worker for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of truancy in Jumilla.
This worker shall serve a ½ day until June 30, 2013.
The problem of truancy in Jumilla is intended to address comprehensive and participatory manner, taking into account all areas that affect the family.
Besides attending the school will be able to study the family environment, health, housing, employment, skills and family dynamics, etc..
Establishing a program of work and training when required by each case.
It is also a preventive program, since they promote and facilitate skills to avoid the rise in absenteeism.
And, of course, is an interagency program, because in this sensitive issue intermingle actions of teachers, tutors, counselors and teaching staff teams guidance and educational, the local police, the AMPAS, social services, and , if the family service DG family and less of the CARM and even the prosecution of minors.
