Last week began in Jumilla, a Social Skills course, coordinated by the Social Services Centre and attended by 16 people at risk or socially excluded.
The course is funded through the IMAS and conducted by psychologists and Felipe González María Prats.
It lasts 60 hours to be extended until 17 December.
The aim of this course, as reported by Councilwoman Mariana Gómez Social Policy, "is to promote social skills acquisition and employment of this group, by performing specific actions in social skills training and pre-work."
The course consists of four modules, one on Personal Growth Workshop, which will work on self-analysis, expression of feelings, recognition of achievements and mistakes and conflict resolution.
The second module Workshop will focus on socialization and he will work to develop attitudes and capacities for action, training responsible citizens, the motivation for social participation, and the usefulness of social networks.
There will be a Professional Skills Workshop which will work basic work habits, motivation for training and active job search, work together and the attainment and maintenance of a job.
The course ends with the fourth module on Labor and Employment workshop which will address basic concepts, analysis and training resources and the labor market, knowledge of employment resources and job search process.
