Wine Routes of Spain voted cultural product in the First Edition Nebrija Tourism Awards Experience (11/05/2010)

Product Club Wine Routes of Spain, the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) has been awarded Best Product at the First Cultural Awards Nebrija Tourism Experience 2010, organized by the University of Madrid Nebrija and issued by a mixed jury, composed of young professionals and graduate students of the University.

Wine Routes of Spain, which owns the Jumilla Wine Route, has returned to obtain recognition as a tourism product.

This time it's the first Nebrija Tourism Experience Award 2010, created at the University Nebrija by a group of students from the BA in Tourism with the aim to assess and reward those institutions, enterprises and tourism professionals who strive to build a new model and a new image of tourism in Spain.

The main line of work Product Club Wine Tours of Spain ACEVIN is the promotion of culture and wine tourism as a complementary tool for local development.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs and now comprises a total of 21 routes: Alicante Wine Route, Wine Route Bierzo, Bullas Wine Route, Route Wine Campo de Borja, Wine Route Condado de Huelva, Jumilla Wine Route, Wine Route of La Mancha, Lleida Wine Route, Wine Route and Brandy de Jerez, Ruta del Vino Montilla- Moriles Navarre Wine Route, Wine Route and Cava Penedès Wine Route Rías Baixas, Ribeiro Wine Route, Wine Route Ribera del Duero, Ruta del Vino Ribera del Guadiana, Ruta del Vino de Rioja Alavesa , Ruta del Vino Rioja Alta, Somontano Wine Route, Wine Route and Route Tacoronte-Acentejo Utiel-Requena wine.

The jury, in addition to undergraduate and graduate students in Tourism from the University, various representatives have also participated in the sector as Favieres Adolfo Palacios, president of Tourism Aldeasa, Ana Isabel Muñoz Mazon, a professor at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Porras Olalla Germain , UNWTO tourism consultant, Jose Luis Guerra, assistant to the president of the Spanish Federation of Hoteliers, Juan Luis Burgos, chairman of the Board of AOC Spain, and Manuel Figuerola Palomo, director of graduate programs at the University Nebrija.
