The Local Government Board has accepted the direct award of two subsidies from the Ministry of Family and Equality.
One of them has an amount of 17,687 euros that will be used to carry out a project to mitigate the effects of energy poverty in Jumilla.
14,149.60 euros will go to individual aid and 3,537.40 euros for the social worker who will execute the project until June 30.
This will cover the costs of electricity, water and gas bills of the most vulnerable families in the town.
On the other hand, another direct subsidy of 12,249 euros is granted for the second reinforcement of the Social Work Program for 9 months, which will be covered by a social worker at 15 hours per week.
Approval of the grants of School Age Sports of the IES Arzobispo Lozano, Carmen Conde CEIP and Santa Ana Concerted Center, as well as the 2017 grants of 4 Patas Association (38,000 euros) and Association of Artisans of Jumilla (2,000 euros) .
The files for assistance contract in matters of cultural management and programming of the Vico Theater, as well as technical services for its operation, are given.
Likewise, the files for hiring services for the delivery of the courses and workshops of the Popular University and socio-health care at the CAI El Arsenal are initiated.
On the other hand, it is authorized the realization of non-agricultural phytosanitary treatments to avoid weeds in the Peñarrubia electrical substation to be made with herbicides between May 21 and 25.
In liquidation of obligations, an amount of 42,605 euros was approved for payment to suppliers.
