The Department of the Environment of the City of Jumilla will participate for the second year in the European Week of Mobility that has been held since 2000 from September 16 to 22 with the aim of modifying our way of moving around the city.

The campaign proposes to the citizens that they take photographs in the bike lanes of the municipality or in front of one of the mupis that will have installed the announcement of the campaign.

Next, they should share this photo using the hashtag # MovilidadJumilla2018 on Twitter and Facebook, tagging the official Twitter or Facebook account of the City Council or the Facebook of the Department of the Environment.

All those who have participated will have to go on September 22 at 11.00 am by bicycle to the bicycle lane of Avenida de la Libertad.

Next to the Indoor Pool they will receive a commemorative shirt and a number with which they will enter a draw for a mountain bike.

Each person can participate in the campaign with a photograph within the contest dates and always according to the theme of this.

According to Mayor Juana Guardiola and Environment Councilor Juan Gil, the campaign "is aimed at sensitizing both political leaders and citizens about the negative consequences of the irrational use of the car in the city, both for public health and for the environment, and the benefits of using more sustainable modes of transport such as public transport, cycling and walking.
