The City of Jumilla is going to install two 'pipicanes' in the avenues of La Libertad and Ronda Poniente, in compliance with the motion approved in full with which it was agreed to adopt measures to solve the problem of the presence of dog droppings in the streets and gardens.
The supply of the same will be through Bartolomé Ochando for a cost of 1,681.90 euros, as approved today in the Governing Board.
In addition, bag vending bins will be installed through Urban Environment Equipment for an amount of 383.51 euros.
Also, we will proceed to the acquisition of an electric foot sweeper for the cleaning of the Municipal Cemetery, which will allow it to be faster and more comfortable given the size of the site and the large number of trees.
It will be through the company DEM Environmental Teams for 1,657.70 euros.
On the other hand, it has been approved the hiring of access to the Public Corporate Platform for a period of one year for 3,327.14 euros, necessary tools for legal and economic services of the City Council.
The Governing Board has also approved the subsidy of 17,828.03 euros from the Ministry of Family and Equality to alleviate the effects of energy poverty on people at risk of social exclusion, as well as start the process of hiring an educator social until March 31 for the execution of the project.
Also approved are several contracts related to the cultural agenda and the Vico Theater in the first quarter of 2019, which will be presented in the coming days.
The safety and health plan of the construction contract for 288 niches and 72 graves in the Municipal Cemetery, corresponding to POS 2018-19, which will begin shortly, is approved.
