The organic wines of six Yecla PDO wineries participate in Millessime Bio 2019 from January 28 to 30 (24/01/2019)

The organic wines produced in the DO Yecla travel to France to participate in the Millesime Bio 2019 fair, which will take place on January 28, 29 and 30 in Montpellier.

The sample is considered the largest of its kind worldwide, and the most representative, since it brings together more than 560 producers from South Africa, Germany, Argentina, Austria, Bulgaria, Chile, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and the United States, among other countries.

All the participating wineries present during the three days of Millesime Bio the characteristics of the new bottled harvest through a simple exhibition, the same for all, distributed randomly throughout the Montpellier Exhibition Center.

Coming from Yecla, this year a total of six wineries attend;

Bodegas La Purisima, Castaño Wineries, Evine wineries and vineyards, Boragas Barahonda, Casa Boquera and Casa de las Especias.

Prior to the fair, last 15th of January, the Challenge Milléssime Bio competition took place, where four Wineries of the PDO Yecla were winners of various medals, among a total of 1,400 samples presented.

The winners are: Barahonda Ecológico Barrica 2016 from Bodegas Barahonda (Gold Medal), Old Hands Oak from Bodegas La Purísima (Silver Medal), Casa Boquera Raising Bodegas Casa Boquera and Old Hands Joven from Bodegas La Purísima (Bronze Medal) .
