The Governing Board held this morning has approved the reports for the temporary hiring of six people through the work exchanges that the City of Jumilla has in progress.
This is an officer and two pawns of masonry for eleven months for maintenance of buildings and public spaces, as well as a serviceman and two masonry laborers for six months for conservation and repair of road safety elements.
Rocódromo and Charco del Zorro
The health and safety plans of the improvement contracts in the Charco del Zorro and the construction of the new climbing wall of the La Hoya Municipal Sports Center have been approved, so the works will begin this week.
The works of conditioning of the Charco del Zorro wetland were the most voted proposal in the Participatory Budgeting process 2018. The wooden poles that currently make the boundary between the land and the water channel area will be replaced by their poor condition and lack of safety by a masonry wall that will avoid possible falls to the pond.
Likewise, an informative poster will be installed that will inform about the particularities of an area of ​​great biological richness, an oasis in semi-arid land, historic for the municipality.
The cost of the action will be 47,267.16 euros.
The construction of the new climbing wall at the La Hoya Sports Center will have two phases.
The first will cost 68,140.87 euros (63% Feader and 37% CARM) and it is one of the Leader projects approved in the first call for grants for the period 2014-2020.
The second will be made through municipal funds at a cost of 60,458.15 euros, the total amount of the installation being 128,599.02 euros.
The project has been carried out by the architect María José Cerdá.
Band performances Julián Santos
The procedure for the awarding of the performance contract for the music bands of the Julián Santos Musical Association for the year 2019, extendable to 2020, with an annual expenditure limit of 21,900 euros, including 13 performances of the titular band, two of the juvenile, is opened and one of the quartet.
On the other hand, the appointment of an interim social worker through the current employment exchange for the implementation of the program of prevention, monitoring and control of school absenteeism, as well as for the energy poverty program, both subsidized with 7,579 and 3,565.03 euros respectively from the European Social Fund and the CARM.
On the other hand, an extrajudicial credit recognition of 184,337 euros corresponding to invoices submitted extemporaneously was approved.
Adhesion agreement benefit benefits community
The City Council adheres to the collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the Federation of Municipalities in order that children under 18 and over 14 can perform benefits for the benefit of the community in the municipality of Jumilla.
Minor contracts

It will be equipped with photographic equipment to the Tourist Office for 698 euros through Ángel Tomás SL
It will be contracted with the company Compañía de Tratamientos del Levante for 1,960.20 euros six annual deratizations of the bordering areas of the four districts, Ronda de los Franceses, Ronda Poniente and Arsenal.
Finally, hiring has been approved for different repairs and material for the departments of Services and Gardens.
