Initiated a file to contract the reconstruction of a house in the Coimbra site (22/07/2019)

The Governing Board held today has begun the file to contract the reconstruction works of House M in the Iberian settlement of Coimbra del Barranco Ancho and its surroundings.

The total cost of the project will be 93,019.93 euros, which will be addressed through a grant of 79,504.22 euros from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, with the City Council contributing € 13,515.71.

It is one of the most outstanding houses in the town, as it had cupboards, ridges, oven and central home.

All the trousseau found inside the house will be placed in its original place.

The visitor can enjoy the house in real size, as well as its importance within the urban layout of the town.

In addition, it will preserve the found structures, such as walls and cupboards of adobes or plasters, avoiding their degradation due to erosion and inclement weather.

All work will be carried out with materials of the same texture and color as the originals, but in a way that the built is perfectly distinguished from the preserved.

Other agreements

On the other hand, it has been approved to apply for a grant to the Murcian Health Service for the hiring of two people with mental illness or drug addiction in recovery, full-time for a period of six months.

The City Council would provide 10,000 euros of the 17,064 euros of project cost.

Likewise, it has been agreed to declare the buildings of Castelar, 27 and Cabecico streets 4 in ruins, requesting their demolition to the General Directorate of Fine Arts, although in the case of the Castelar house the façade would be left standing.

The subsidies for the year 2018 have been justified by the Water and Land Associations, AFAD, Association of Alcoholics Rehabilitated ARJU, the Association of Rural Women Cañada del Trigo, AAVV Barrio San Fermín and the Local Board of the AECC.

In smaller contracts, the acquisition of necessary software for the elaboration of budgets and management of the staff in the Department of Human Resources for 17,888 euros is approved;

the reduction of the contract with T-Systems for 48,269.36 euros until February 16, 2020;

supply of swing seats for 664.29 euros and repairs to the Cemetery drain for 363 euros.

In settlement of obligations, an amount of 36,513.15 euros has been approved for payment to suppliers.

Likewise, 10 urban planning licenses and the application of an additional 0.25% increase in staff salaries have been given the green light.
