Bodegas Luzón has already prepared the VIII edition of the Open Harvest Days with proposals to know the universe of wine addressed to all audiences from next Saturday, September 14 until December 1.
Three months in which the winery will bring its history and culture to wine lovers.
The set of activities that will be developed until December are designed for the whole family, from the smallest to the veterans.
In this way, Open Harvest is the perfect transmitter of the wine culture for all profiles and ages, which will begin with "Harvest in Family" composed of the grape harvest and tread, a country lunch, a must and wine tasting and different crafts for the little ones.
In October, "Growing with wine" will be held, a unique workshop, with which to enjoy the evolution of wine, tasting it in each of its different stages, from before even the malolactic fermentation as it passes through wood and how It affects the aromas and flavors of wine.
The "Workshop of aromas" allows you to enjoy the different aromas and flavors of the wines of Bodegas Luzón.
In the same line, the activity "Winemaker for a day" will be developed, which will allow attendees to understand and make their own Coupage of different varieties of wine to achieve the perfect aroma and flavor.
Without neglecting the fun, you can enjoy "Enogymkana", an activity in which the attendees' knowledge about the world of wine will be tested, as well as their skills and ability.
Finally, the activity of the conference, "Painting with wine", where the Jumillano artist, Miguel Ángel Lozano, will give a workshop to create pigment through Monastrell grapes with which to create a unique painting.
November 10 is European Wine Tourism Day, which Bodegas Luzón celebrates with open days by appointment.
