Tomorrow, Tuesday, the Roque Baños Cultural Center reopens, once most of the repair and commissioning of all the facilities have been completed after the fire in the cafeteria kitchen on July 1.
"Most of the damage occurred on the ground floor, where the electrical system, air conditioning and telecommunications facilities, as well as the plaster, had to be renewed, which has been replaced and repainted. After the relevant cleaning of the different stays and review of emergency systems, associations and citizens can begin to use the building, "said the Councilor for Citizen Participation, María Belén López.
The cost of repairs has been covered by the building insurance company.
During the first few days, the elevator, which is being repaired by a fault outside the fire, cannot be used.
