The Government Board has approved the contracting of renovation and widening works on the sidewalks of Murcia Avenue in the section between Progreso and Arsenal streets.

This is one of the proposals of the Participatory Budgeting process 2019.

With this reform, transit will be facilitated for people with reduced mobility, since the current sidewalk has a width of 1.20 meters, which is often reduced by being invaded by the vehicles that park, when this section is carried out battery parking.

In addition, "the old paving is tiled, which due to its design and wear, are slippery and have many discontinuities due to the entrance of the buildings, a circumstance that will be left with the reform resolved. parking will remain the same, "said the mayor, Juana Guardiola.

The cost will be 23,945.54 euros and will be carried out by Construcciones Vifraju, with an execution period of two months from the beginning of it, which will be shortly.
