The Councilor for Equality, Lola Gómez, and the technician of the area, Paqui Ruiz, have presented the activities that will be carried out in Jumilla on the occasion of the Day against sexual exploitation and trafficking of women, girls and boys, which is celebrated today , September 23.
"Under the motto 'Without clients there is no trafficking' and framed within the 2019 Municipal Equality Plan, the Jumilla City Council continues to show the rejection of this crime, which is a form of modern slavery and a violation of human rights," he said. the councilor.
Two activities have been organized that will take place on October 30 and 31, which are based on the presentation and screening of the documentary 'The Pimp.

The documentary portrays the true story of what is behind the brothels by the hand of a privileged witness, Miguel, nicknamed "The Musician", a former pimp who has confessed with great detail how the business of prostitution has evolved in Spain from the end of the eighties until today, with the trafficking business.
In order to carry out these activities, there will be the presence of Mabel Lozano, known primarily for her role as an actress and television presenter and, for a few years, director of several documentaries, including 'The Pimp', and activist.
Through cinema he has dedicated himself to fighting sexual exploitation, something he considers a form of "dominance, submission and violence."
On October 30, starting at 8:00 p.m., the presentation and screening of the documentary will be held at the Vico Theater, with an invitation to pick up at the box office, for over 16 years.
The next day there will be a training day with the Bachelor students, screening and presentation of the version adapted to young people of the documentary, in the morning and directed to secondary schools of Jumilla.
