Up to 20,000 euros are granted to promote activities aimed at development cooperation, promotion of solidarity among peoples, defense of Human Rights, elimination of poverty and social exclusion, prevention of violence, education for peace, support for migrants and awareness and social mobilization

Next Monday opens the deadline for requesting subsidies under competitive competition in international cooperation, which Jumilla City Council has been calling since 2017.

Up to 20,000 euros may be granted to promote activities aimed at development cooperation, promotion of solidarity between peoples, defense of Human Rights, elimination of poverty and social exclusion, prevention of violence, education for peace, support for migrants and awareness and social mobilization.

Two different subsidy lines have been established.

One for local projects and a maximum of 10,000 euros with which it is intended to carry out awareness raising and education actions in the municipality of Jumilla in order to create a solidarity awareness and generate personal and social changes that enable fair international relations.

There is a second line for international projects and a maximum of 10,000 euros whose objective is to meet the basic needs of groups or disadvantaged areas of less developed countries, as well as to carry out emergency actions in cases of disasters that cause humanitarian crises.

For this call, the maximum limit to be granted per entity will be 5,000 euros on both lines.

Applications must be submitted to the General Register of the City Council, being October 11 the last day.
