The Councilor for Sports, José Antonio Jiménez, presented this morning the 2019 edition of the Jumilla Solidarity Christmas Race, which this year is going to be held on Saturday December 28 (16.30) with departure and finish at the Plaza de la Glorieta .
The test will have, once again, a solidarity character, so that everything collected in the inscriptions of the test, as well as the food delivered by the participants, will go to the Red Cross for another year.
The federated athletes will pay 4 euros and the non-federated 6 euros plus two kilos of non-perishable food in both cases.
The prebenjamin, benjamin, fry and child categories will not pay registration, although they must deliver food.
The registration period is now open through www.intercrono.es and will close on the 26th. On the day of the test, registrations will be accepted, in this case at 8 euros.
As usual, there will be a costume contest from half an hour before the first of the departures, which will take place at 5.30 pm.
The rest of the categories will start the race divided into two more starts at 17.50 and 18.30 respectively.
The circuit will have its route through the streets of the city center and old town.
There will be prizes and trophies for the top three classified in all modalities, as well as for the general, local runners and costume contest.
