"The Jumilla Solidaria action is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the Regulatory Council, and is financed with the contribution of 0.04 Euros for every 100 cons issued. This is our main solidarity action, as it appears in our annual budgets."

This year the amount collected has been 12,000 euros that have been distributed equally between the delegations of Cáritas de Hellín and Jumilla.

Silvano García claims this solidarity action with Caritas that turns 10 years old;

"With this collaboration, we fulfill our responsibility as a Council for society, and our constant commitment to helping the most disadvantaged. Jumilla PDO is supportive, and our wines are too. As an example, we highlight the work of several wineries of this PDO that present solidarity wines to the market. In addition, the work carried out by Cáritas is very important for society and its work in the municipalities of this PDO is commendable. We have good reasons to support them year after year, "revalidating the commitment of this Regulatory Council to continue this solidarity work in the future.

Meanwhile, the spokeswoman for Caritas Inter parish Hellín, said that the money would go mainly to the program of families and economato, and thanked the "prize" granted, stating that agriculture is the main union that makes them proud to belong to this PDO , in addition to family closeness, ties and traditions.

Likewise, the spokeswoman of Caritas Jumilla wanted to congratulate the Regulatory Council and spoke of the many projects in which they work from this entity, which will allocate the funds mainly to the future of the youngest and the Casa Hogar San José

This is not the only solidarity collaboration that draws on the budgets of the Regulatory Council, although it is the most important.

Other ways of collaboration that CRDOP Jumilla carries out are continuous collaborations with local entities, such as support for sports and other groups.
