The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, on behalf of the City Council, and the president of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of the Assumption, Juan María Tomás, have signed this morning the 2,000 euros agreement provided for in the 2019 General Budget. , in addition, the councilor of Celebrations, José Antonio Jiménez.
The objective is to collaborate economically in the execution of the activity of celebration of the patron celebrations and acts of the brotherhood.
Likewise, the City Council yields the use of premises for the development of activities of the brotherhood such as the Hermitage of San Roque for the purpose of registered office and a place located on Esteban Tomás Street to be used as a throne store and other equipment.
In addition, the activities of artistic groups are contracted through the Department of Culture and Celebrations to accompany the development of the acts of Ascent of the Patroness, Offering of Flowers, Mass of the Patron's Day, procession of the Patron's Day and descent of The Patroness
