The alleged perpetrator, an experienced criminal in the area, has been arrested

In the three records made, a large number of stolen objects have been recovered

These are robberies committed in homes and warehouses throughout the municipality of Jumilla

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed in Jumilla the operation 'Puyazo', an investigation framed in the 'Plan against theft in homes', which has resulted in the identification, location and detention of the alleged author of at least , about thirty robberies with force committed in homes and industrial buildings throughout the municipality.

The proceedings began last September, when the Civil Guard detected the increase in complaints related to the alleged commission of robberies with force in Jumilla real estate, facts that had caused social alarm among the population.

The first steps of the operation were oriented in two ways.

On the one hand, surveillance services were increased in order to prevent the commission of criminal acts of this type and, where appropriate, to frustrate them.

And on the other hand, thorough technical-ocular inspections were carried out on the property that was stolen to collect all possible evidence and clarify the facts.

As a result of the eye inspections carried out, it was possible to determine that the way of accessing the houses was carried out using force on the door locks, taking advantage of the fact that, since they were mostly second homes, the inhabitants were absent for long periods of time.

In the case of thefts to industrial and local warehouses, access to the interior was made through the butrón procedure.

For this, the now arrested was allegedly helped by masonry tools to make holes in the exterior walls of the premises and, already inside, subtract all kinds of valuable effects and more tools, which, by collecting them , he would use them in his next blows.

Regarding the thefts committed in homes in the Jumillano neighborhood of San Juan, it has been detected that they took place in short periods of time, considering the initial hypothesis that they were under close and constant vigilance of their author.

Suspecting that the author of the robberies was a neighbor of the area, the Civil Guard focused the investigation on that aspect and identified a neighbor of the area with a history of similar crimes and notable criminal experience, coinciding that he resided to scarce meters from where the houses subject to theft were centered.

It was also detected that the suspect used a garage as a nursery for stolen effects in the vicinity of the Jumillana district of La Fuente del Pino, the second area where robberies were also focused.

The investigations carried out allowed the researchers to verify that the robberies were committed only by one person, continuously, with the same form of action and objectives as their own neighbors.

It was also verified that it subtracted mainly cash, tools, tractor components, agricultural tools and fuel.

Once all the necessary indications have been obtained, prior judicial authorization, the Civil Guard has made the entry and registration of three properties the domiciles of the suspect and a garage, which have culminated with the recovery of a large number of stolen objects and the seizure of the useful employees for the commission of thefts.

After police records, the Benemérita has arrested the suspect, as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of robbery with force.

The first analysis of the information obtained during the investigation shows that it is allegedly after the authorship of thirty robberies, not ruling out its involvement in more criminal acts.

Recovered Objects

After all three records, civil guards have seized a large number of agricultural tools, such as manual and pneumatic pruning shears, pyrographs, medical devices, construction equipment, conventional tools, an agricultural trailer, an almond peeler and a Endless electronic and decorative effects, some of which, are already being recognized by their rightful owners and returned to them.

Entry into prison of the arrested

The 46-year-old Spanish detainee, a neighbor of Jumilla and with a history of similar crimes, the effects recovered and the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Jumilla (Murcia), which has decreed the prisoner's entry into prison.
