The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, accompanied by the councilors of Works and Pedanías, Francisco González and María Belén López, next to the pedunal of the Fuente del Pino, Francisco García, as well as representatives of the Association of Rural Women, Club de la Tercera Age and the Association of Neighbors have presented this morning the works of the second phase of the rehabilitation of the old school of the district, which have cost 48,000 euros.
In a first phase, whose works were executed last year, the cover was changed, with a cost close to 42,000 euros.
The building was diaphanous and reinforced with a view to the beginning of this second stage, which was executed by the Constu-Archena company and "has consisted of the replacement of windows, doors, pavement, paint, adaptation of toilets and final set-up with the objective that it can be enjoyed by the neighbors of the district after several years in a sad state, "said the mayor.
The roof was supported with transverse beams, simulating wood inside and with mixed tile and curved surface.
It also arranged the entire perimeter with molding.
The total cost of building rehabilitation has been 90,000 euros.
To this must be added the change of the electrical installation and the increase of the power of the same, in the adjacent building, in this case with a cost of 10,000 euros.
