Tomorrow the prizes for the 2019 edition of the Young Art contest are presented (15/01/2020)

Tomorrow, Thursday, the awards ceremony of the 2019 edition of the Young Art contest is organized, organized by the Department of Youth.

The appointment is at 20.00 in the auditorium of the Jumilla Cultural Space.

Twelve works have been awarded in four modalities: literature, photography, plastic arts and music.

The participants have been young people between 14 and 35 years old, divided into two categories (A, from 14 to 21 and B, from 22 to 35 years old).

The cash prizes are 140 euros for the first classified, the second, 80 euros and third parties, 30 euros.

The works of photography and plastic arts will be exhibited in the exhibition hall of the Jumilla Cultural Space until January 30.

"The purpose of this call is to contribute to generate a space where creativity and originality are integrated, the part of building a text, a paper, choosing colors, a moment, a musical composition, expressing feelings, adventures or stories through of art, "said the Councilor for Youth, Lola Gómez.

The jury has been composed of members who in an altruistic way have selected the works with their knowledge and experience in each modality:

-In Literature: Ana María Olivares Tomás, María Pilar Pérez Quílez and Magdalena Jiménez Ortiz.

-In Plastic Arts and Photography: Alberto Esparza Berruezo, Eduardo Manuel Gea Martínez, María Dolores Pérez Martínez and Sergio García García.

-And in Music: Juan Diego Gómez Alonso, Alejandro García Villaverde López and Andrés Martínez Díaz.
