The voting period for Participatory Budgets 2020 with 655 participants ends (30/01/2020)

Last night the voting period of the Participatory Budgeting 2020 process ended, which has had 655 participants in this last phase.

A total of 421 have done so in the classroom mode and 234 online.

The proposal that requests air conditioning and isolation of the social premises of the Barrio San Juan has been the most voted option, ahead of those who request the adaptation of the wardrobe of people with disabilities of the Indoor Municipal Pool and a campaign of reforestation of green areas, which They have finished second and third.

In the category of activities for young people, the proposal calling for an escape room for Jumilla has succeeded.

In districts, the asphalting of a street in La Alquería, the replacement of molten streetlamps on the Santa Ana highway, the installation of renewable energies in the El Carche Shelter and road safety in La Raja have occupied the first place in the different areas.

The final forum with the results will be offered on Thursday, February 20 at the Roque Baños Center.

The rest of the proposals (viable and non-viable) will be studied by the City Council for possible inclusion in their future programming or send them to other competing entities.
