The call for the show that took place last Tuesday, day 3, was more than satisfactory for the organization of the DOP Jumilla Wine Salon in A Coruña.

Throughout the day, people from the professional sector of the province were going through curiosity and emotion to know the wines of this historic PDO, which left no one indifferent.

The endless comments about the great quality of the Jumillas, their good acidity and presentation was the keynote in the declarations of distributors and personalities of the Coruñesa hospitality industry.

The participating wineries;

Bodegas Carchelo, Bodegas Alceño, Bodegas Silvano García, Viñedos and Bodegas Asensio Carcelén, Bodegas San Dionisio, Bodegas Luzón, Bodegas Pío Del Ramo, Parajes del Valle Wineries and Vineyards, Bodegas Viña Elena, Bodegas Juan Gil, Bodegas BSI, Bodegas Salzillo Fernández, Bodegas 1890, Bodega Cerrón and Bodegas Ontalba, showed their satisfaction, for the high level of professionals who attended this room, and the interest of wine tasters and wine lovers.

This enthusiasm and affection that the attendees transmitted to us, is also latent in the final public of A Coruña, which has no qualms to consume wines from all the Denominations of Origin of Spain, and which from the Regulatory Council is expected to attract with new actions promotion and communication to continue the attraction to taste these wines, and be surprised with the Monastrell, the queen variety of the Jumilla PDO.

The rosé wines presented, already have a preferential place in this category, and shine with their own light within the Jumilla PDO.

But not only the red and rosé wines surprised in A Coruña, also the whites, of a different character to the whites of Galicia became commendable and surprised by their Mediterranean character.

The call that brought together almost 300 visitors, exceeded expectations for the great assistance of the distribution sector that came from all over Galicia, different places in the province and also from Pontevedra.

This curiosity demonstrated by tasting the great wines of PDO Jumilla is a necessary incentive in the Regulatory Council to continue with the actions in the peninsular northwest.

This trip of the Jumilla PDO that shares its essence between Murcia and Albacete, served so that the secretary of the Regulatory Council, Carolina Martínez Origone could approach hospitality schools in the city, ending the round of seminars around the Monastrell PDO Jumilla in the Superior Hospitality Center of Galicia, in Santiago de Compostela.

Students from different fields were able to verify the richness of the different elaborations that differentiate the Jumilla PDO, tasting rosé, red and sweet red wines made 100% with Monastrell grapes.
