Culture presents the 2020 Chamber Cycle with the motto 'Jumilla, city of music' (10/03/2020)

With the motto 'Jumilla, city of music', the mayor, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martínez, presented this morning at the Town Hall the 2020 Chamber Cycle, which is organized for the second consecutive year.

They have been accompanied by pianists Pedro Valero and Javier Bas, as well as Lola Tomás, on behalf of AFAD.

For the organization of the cycle, on this occasion there has been the Lyric Company Julian Santos, with the Promussian Association of Molina de Segura and also collaborates with AFAD Jumilla (Family Association of Alzheimer's Patients), since one of the shows is for the benefit of this Jumillana association.

Tickets for the shows held at the Vico Theater will be on sale this week at regular box office hours, except for the show on April 17 for the benefit of AFAD, which will be sold by the association itself.

The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, explained that "the objective of 'Jumilla, city of music' is to become a brand or product that in the future brings together all the musical events that are held in the municipality."

For her part, the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martínez has added that the cycle "aims to grow in the near future, also incorporating shows from different cycles in collaboration with the Royal Theater, which was 200 years old recently and is offering live shows and broadcasts for the different municipalities of the country. "
