Likewise, it has provided data on the number of complaints for breach of the Royal Decree of the State of Alarm and the number of people in home isolation with symptoms.

Internal measures

Juana Guardiola has reported new measures taken by the City Council that affect municipal workers after coordinating them with the Health and Safety Committee, the Personnel Board, the Government councilors, department heads, the Prevention Service, the unions and Personal service.

They consist of a reorganization of employees, with teleworking taking precedence for whom it is possible, temporarily assigning support functions to services that require it, which are now being reinforced, such as cleaning, disinfection and Social Services, as well as vacations in the part of provision of the City Council for those who do not have a workload due to having suspended their activities and cannot perform support functions.

Social services

On the other hand, he has indicated that Social Services continues to work at full capacity, with all services in progress (Telecare, home delivery, SAD, CAVI, OMIC ...) and "prepared in case it is necessary to reinforce them," he assured.

He has remembered the emergency telephone number 968 716367 and the email servsociales@jumilla.org so that anyone who needs it can get in touch.

"Whoever is alone and needs to make the purchase, who is isolated and lacks protection material that he does not hesitate to contact; we are in coordination with Cáritas and the Red Cross to cover the needs that arise", he highlighted.

Likewise, he announced that a document is being prepared with businesses and establishments that deliver food, medicine and prepared food at home, which will be published in the coming days.

Disinfections

Juana Guardiola recalled that she continues to carry out disinfection of containers daily and areas near shops, health centers and some streets and districts, with municipal staff.

This afternoon the complete spraying of all streets of the urban area and districts is being carried out for which farmers and agrarian organizations are collaborating.

In this sense, he has asked for citizen collaboration in keeping the city clean: "Please, when you leave an establishment, we ask that you do not throw your gloves in the vicinity, for safety for all. Enough are collected daily and we ask that Maintain good safety practices for us, but also that we think of others. "

Area V data

According to a report sent yesterday, in Area V of Health there are 441 people who are isolated in their homes "with symptoms, but without results. We continue to ask, as from the first moment, that we inform the mayors in a reserved way so that to be able to collaborate in monitoring or adopt some additional measure, but we still do not have it, "stated the first local authority.

120 complaints for breach of the Royal Decree

Local Police, Civil Guard and Civil Protection continue to monitor compliance with the Royal Decree on the State of Alarm "but at the same time they continue to do their job of protecting security. In fact, four people have recently been arrested: three for crimes against public health and one for disobedience, "he indicated.

The complaints to people for not complying with the Royal Decree reach about 120, "some with excuses such as looking for an earring, coming to buy without taking a purchase, going for a walk, coming or going to friends' house when you can't ... Anyway, I ask responsibility to that small group of people, who have not yet understood the gravity of the moment we are in. "

Economic measures

The Mayor of Jumilla has also recalled that the Local Government continues to work to "try to carry out the refund of public rates and prices, as well as all kinds of activities that have been stopped by the State of Alarm. We will try to make it official. "

Likewise, he added that "possibilities are being studied to exempt the affected companies from garbage and water receipts."

All these measures will be added to those that the Government of Spain has already adopted and is adopting, "whose information is public, and from the Department of Economy of the City Council or the one that may proceed, we can also inform".

No hoaxes and thanks

On the other hand, Juana Guardiola, has again regretted the proliferation of hoaxes and "that there are those who take advantage of these moments to encourage hateful positions, provoke fear in people or seek tension."

He has taken the opportunity to once again thank health workers, security and emergency employees, municipal services, farmers, "as well as anonymous people and companies that are voluntarily contributing everything they can, making masks, gowns or delivering material to us. "

Equally, "to those who continue in their work because everything cannot be paralyzed, to the media and, of course, to citizens in general, since it is a very hard effort, but we are responding very well, with very few exceptions. we have to win. "

Finally, he encouraged to continue going out every afternoon-night at 8 pm to the windows and balconies.

"It is exciting that this encounter between neighbors, almost lost in these times, continues to occur."
