A tireless traveler and student of the great wine regions of Europe, this archaeological wine explorer will seek, through this tasting, the combination of climatological aspects, soils, altitudes, and vineyard exhibitions that offer a special character to the wines of the PDO Jumilla .

Wines that offer elegance and balance, as well as complexity and strength. The wines to be tasted will be:Ribera Alta del Mundo, Rosado Monastrell 2019, from Bodegas Nª Sª Encarnación (Tobarra)100x100 Monastrell 2018, from Bodegas Carcelén (Jumilla)Monastrell Ecological Talent 2019 from Ego Bodegas (Jumilla)Offering Crianza Monastrell 2017 from Bodegas Santiago Apóstol (Montealegre del Castillo). The tasting cycle will continue during Phase 0 of the confinement, and from the Regulatory Council they prepare 3 new tastings that will take place on Fridays 8, 15 and 22 of this month.

After the passage of the Galician wine expert Luis Paadín, it will be the turn of José Luis Casado, wine critic, technician of the Vinoselection tasting panel, and habitual taster of the DOP Jumilla Wine Quality Contest.Following the advance of Phase 1 of our quarantine, it is proposed that the closure of this #ConVinamiento be made from Murcia, where Antonio Chacón, sommelier and professor of restaurant-bar service in the Murcia Tourist Qualification Center, will offer an interesting sample dedicated again to the queen variety of the Jumilla PDO; the Monastrell grape. As usual, the tastings will be broadcast live on the DOP Jumilla Wine channel on Facebook (@VinosJumilla) at 8:00 p.m., and will be available later on this same social network.

People who are following it live will be able to ask questions that the sommeliers will also clarify in a rigorous live broadcast. The decision to add more online tastings will depend on how our state of alarm and progressive de-escalation develops.

Support for the hospitality industry will be essential after Phase 1, when the premises will be able to open their doors again.
