There are several specific solutions, but the global solution, in the opinion of IU Verdes, would be an agreement of all the representatives of political organizations to undertake, within a period of 10 to 15 years, the Master Plan for rainwater in the urban area of ??Jumilla, which is a existing instrument but that no mayor decides to carry out even if little by little. There are other areas of which proposals will be made in the future on our part, but this time we focus on the dams that were made in the 80s (or earlier) in the ravines of the Castle.
These infrastructures could retain water, stones, and plant debris when they were made, but today they are full of dirt, brush, and debris of many kinds. One of the dams, the one with the largest capacity and that pours into the Rambleta del Cartel, still has the capacity to retain water, but the small dams that were built upstream from the streets of Albano Martínez and Luis Braille are totally blinded and do not perform any function.
