Services increases its mobile fleet with a truck, a lifting platform, a wheelbarrow and an electric bicycle (07/07/2020)

| The first three have been acquired through a renting system, whose contract includes insurance and full vehicle maintenance | The Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Services, Francisco González, accompanied by the head of the department, Pascual Cahigüela, have presented this morning four new vehicles that are incorporated into the mobile park of the Department of Services. It is a box truck, a telescopic lifting platform, a 4x4 forklift and an electric bicycle.

The first three have been acquired through the lease system for four years.

The cost for the three vehicles is 39,136.10 euros per year and the contract includes all-risk insurance, as well as full maintenance.

For its part, the electric bicycle has had a cost of 6,300 euros. "The objective is to continue with the renewal and improvement of the fleet of vehicles of the Department of Services that we started a few years ago with the purchase of two waste collection trucks, a container-washing truck and two sweeping machines, allowing the work is done with the greatest possible comfort.

The electric bicycle makes it possible to clean litter bins and carry out disinfections in different places through a gun, "they indicated in the presentation. It is also planned to continue with the improvements in the fleet of vehicles of the Department of Services with six other vans, which will be purchased through the same renting system.
