More than a hundred children from 4 to 12 years old are participating in the Summer 2020 Toy Libraries, launched by the Department of Social Policy.
They began last Monday and will last until July 31.
They are being carried out in the Miguel Hernández, Carmen Conde, San Francisco schools and in the social centers of La Alquería and Fuente del Pino.The councilor for Social Policy, Antonio López, accompanied by the Social Services psychologist, Antonia María Simón, today visited the three classrooms of the Carmen Conde School.
"The main objective is to support families in the reconciliation of working life.
This year the ratios have been lowered to 15 people due to the pandemic situation in recent months and a prevention protocol for covid-19 has been implemented" , has indicated the mayor of the area.The use of the facilities is only allowed for minors, adults carry and collect minors at the door, exhaustive cleaning of the classrooms is carried out and the use of hydroalcoholic gel is promoted.
The monitors, through the game and workshops, are accustoming and sensitizing minors to their use on repeated occasions throughout the morning.
