Jumilla lights up orange for equal rights for those affected by ADHD (27/10/2020)

Tonight the façade of the City Hall and the Plaza del Trucker Juan Soriano will be illuminated in orange to commemorate ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) Day, which is commemorated today, October 27.The objective is to raise awareness about the equal rights of the people affected by it.

In Jumilla, assistance is offered through the Association for Assistance to Attention Deficit with More or Less Hyperactivity (ADAHI), which attends to the needs of patients with ADHD and associated disorders (conduct disorders, dyslexia, etc ...) , as well as their relatives.The pedagogical re-education that is developed in the association consists of intervening mainly on the capacities compromised by the disorder such as cognitive, emotional and behavioral problems as well as stimulating the instrumental skills of those affected.

The professionals who provide this service have the qualifications of specialized psychologists and pedagogues, and also have complementary training, simultaneously carrying out specific continuous training according to the needs of those affected.
