'Por ti' is a blend of Monastrell grape and Cabernet Sauvignon, highly recognized by experts and consumers, of which 14,925 bottles have been produced. 'Por ti' is an opaque cherry-colored wine with a garnet rim.
On the nose it is fruity, highlighting aromas of ripe red fruit, spicy, fine cocoa and toasted wood.
While in the mouth it has a very good structure, confit, tasty, with ripe and sweet tannins.
Long, friendly and persistent wine. As for its elaboration, it has been a careful process to the extreme, with manual harvesting and a selection of the best grapes, prior to vatting and vinification.
Its fermentation takes place in French oak barrels between 8 and 10 days and, subsequently, it remains in contact with the skins in maceration.
This wine remains 18 months in barrels with 60 percent French oak and 40 percent American. The grapes with which 'Por ti' is made come from vineyards with very stony soil, which in the case of Monastrell have thick skins and a good balance between sugar and acidity; while Cabernet Sauvignon are very small grapes, with great concentration and flavor. The harvest of the 2017 vintage was characterized by being very short and early, and its vines were very healthy.
These factors are reflected in the concentration of the grapes and, as a result, in the fruity expression of the wine that stands out from the previous vintage. The phrase "You are what I never dreamed of, what I never thought I deserved" summarizes the history of this wine that was born as a tribute to our loved ones, especially the children who will come, those who will succeed us.
