The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the president of the Central Board of the Brotherhood of Holy Week, Fulgencio Garcia, signed the agreement that aims to establish the general lines of collaboration between the two entities for the performance yesterday everything has to do with the Easter Jumilla during 2016.
This agreement establishes that the City of Jumilla make a direct financial contribution to the Central Board of Brotherhoods of 35,280 euros, to which must be added the payment of the performances of the two bands of Jumilla and the Coral Canticorum in all processions and acts of appointment of Nazarene of Honor and the opening speech.
Similarly, the City bears the costs of promotion of Easter in different forms of local and regional media, the costs of extraordinary lighting, cleaning of public roads on the routes of the processions and reserve sidewalks and streets for installation stands, collaborate in mounting brackets for television broadcasts and giving in public places and buildings to perform different actions.
For its part, the Central Board of the Brotherhood is committed to the organization of Holy Week in their travels, processions and events of all kinds, promote tourist interests of the city as well as to record throughout their promotional material shield City Council and coordinate with the same visits and requests with other institutions.
