The Museum Jerónimo Molina donates several fossil footprints to the University of Murcia (26/05/2016)

The Museum Jerónimo Molina has donated several replicas of fossil footprints at the University of Murcia, made with own means City of Jumilla.

In the ceremony held this morning at the section of Natural Sciences of the Municipal Museum they have been present the Councillor for Culture, Pilar Martinez, the director of this section of the museum, Cayetano Herrero, director of the Department of Teaching Experimental Sciences Faculty of Education, Maria Victoria Valcárcel, and Gregorio Romero, on behalf of the Directorate General of Culture.

Pilar Martínez said that "this donation is the first step to create a link of collaboration with the aim of helping the public university to research and teaching, so that students can see first hand the paleontological heritage with which we in the region".
