The Bishop of Cartagena and Golden Age of the Messengers of Peace have signed an agreement to launch the nursing of Jumilla and continue the work conducted for years in this town the Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly.

The Christ tied to the Column Foundation will collaborate bringing pastoral and volunteering in the residence, and economically helping those elderly who do not have the means.

The association Golden Age Messengers of Peace is a nonprofit regional level, the NGO Messengers of Peace, which began in the region of Murcia in 2001. This entity is responsible for the specialized gerontological care of about 429 elderly in living in the three homes they own in the -San Pedro del Pinatar, Villanueva del Río Segura and Cartagena- Region and other services 215 attending day stays who run in a dozen municipalities daily.
