Youth presents summer activities and Young Art 2016 (28/06/2016)

Youth Councillor, Juan Manuel García, yesterday presented the summer activities planned by the council, and the basis of the Youth Art Contest and a course that will be offered.

For July 10 is a day of canoeing scheduled to be held in Los Narejos departing at 9.00 and a price of 12.90 euros.

Sunday August 7 will be held down Segura River between Cieza and Abarán at a price of 16,90 euros with sandwich and soda.

In this case the output will be at 9.15 am returning at 14.30 hours being provided.

In both activities, the minimum age is 8 years and it is essential to know how to swim.

On September 25 it will take place a trip to Bioparc Valencia leaving at 8.00 pm and return at 20.00.

The price for children 5 to 12 years is 12.90 euros and for young people aged between 13 and 35 years of 16,90 euros.

The three take the bus activities funded by the Youth Council with a maximum of 55 participants.

The departure and return will in all cases in the indoor pool.

All children must be accompanied by a Young adulto.Arte 2016

The mayor of Youth presented at the same press conference the bases of Young Art Contest 2016 that will have four categories: Literature, Photography, Visual Arts and Music.

They all can participate young people between 14 and 30 and the deadline will remain open until November 21.

30 days after the presentation of the works the jury will be known.

1,000 euros will be distributed in prizes to the top three finishers in each category.

Course time monitor

Similarly, the councilman of Youth reported that bid again monitor the course of time "that has traditionally been high demand".

You have 250 hours of lessons to start on October 7 and end on 20 January.

The class schedule will be Friday from 16 to 20 hours and Saturdays from 10 to 14 and 16 to 20 hours.

The number of students will be a maximum of 30 and the course fee of 90 euros.

Juan Manuel Garcia thanked also the involvement of the Director General of Youth to make this course possible in Jumilla.
