DOP wines from Jumilla joins the Campus Food UCAM (22/07/2016)

The Catholic University of Murcia and the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin Jumilla this morning signed a collaboration agreement on sponsorship with respect to the Campus Food UCAM, formed by degrees in Food Science and Technology Food and Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

The agreement was signed by José Luis Mendoza, president of the university, and Pedro Lencina, Chairman of the Board, who has said that this agreement will "go implanting a culture of wine".

The agreement will enable to carry out promotional initiatives such as seminars, lectures students -including area as formativo- food supplement, cooperation for development of training activities aimed at continuing education and university professionals specialized in asset and collaboration in research.

The event was also attended by José María Cayuela, head of Campus Academic Food, who has defined this sponsorship as recognition of the work done.

"That the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin Jumilla, which has both prestige both nationally and internationally, to support us in this project is something important", and added that this is an opportunity for students "power know a quality product worldwide. "
